Heritage Balmoral Door Knobs Lever Latch BAL8510 Matt Bronze

A pair of Heritage Balmoral door knobs to suit a mortice lock. There are matching versions without the keyholes, bathroom versions and also ones to suit a Euro-Profile mortice lock all using the same size backplate. This knob can therefore be used throughout the house giving uniformity of size for latching, locking and bathrooms doors. One side of the pair is unsprung and the other is sprung - this reduces the need for a heavy sprung latch in the door. The knobs are made from solid brass and are available in a wide range of finishes - please select desired finish and latch plate from the drop-down. This is the matt bronze finish which is aged brass that has been lacquered. Over time the bronze colour will lighten along any edges and surfaces that are frequently touched, and create a naturally aged appearance.with exposed brass below. To care for this finish, regularly remove dirt and watermarks with a non-abrasive cloth. If used outside the lacquer will break down quicker than indoors so applying a non-abrasive wax coating may extend its life.
