Connecting rod end to end balancing and weight matching (Per Rod)

Description Please note: This is a standard price only, additional charge may be required dependant on setup time & any extra machine processes or parts required Rods are all balanced end to end, we do this so that the load across all cylinders is even. This avoids uneven bearing wear from having inconsistent weights, we balance to /-0.1g for the best accuracy. The rods are weighed on our jig to determine the weight of the big end and small ends which are then matched. This ensures that the reciprocating mass and rotational mass is taken into account. Material is removed from the heaviest rods to match that of the lightest rods, the material is removed from areas that don’t affect the strength or operation of the rod. If you send us your connecting rods with order reference, they will be shipped back to you via courier.
