Pro-Race Engineering 144×22 Drag Race 1.8t JE Piston and Steel Rod Combo

Description This package supplied by Pro-Race Engineering is the ultimate combo for the hardcore 1.8t build. These are the exact same pistons we use in our own rag cars with aluminium connecting rods (please get in touch if you feel ally rods are right for you) These combine the strong I beam rifle drilled rods with the heavy duty JE pistons held together by a 22mm tool steel wrist pin. Perfect combo for them high power builds. We do also offer a thick walled tool steel pin for extreme and high powered drag applications. This combo as standard will be supplied as 82mm, 82.2mm and 82.4mm diameter pistons for 92.8mm TFSI stroke, with a  11:1 compression ratio. If you require any different please let us know as we can get some custom made to suit your needs. Our rods use the strong and reliable I Beam construction with small end oiling via rifle drilling. These rods are rated to more than we can expect anyone to put through a steel rod! They come in a matched set of /-1g. Although we can supply these with ARP2000 Rods bolts, We do strongly recommend using the 625 Custom Age Bolts. Rod bolts have a toque of 75 newton meters / 55ft pounds.
