Description A Block Guard acts as a support, filling the gap between the outside of the cylinder wall and the rest of the block. The idea being that the added rigidity of filling the gap reduces flexing and possibly cracking. Supertech block guards are meticulously designed and tested that will provide support to highly stressed cylinder walls with optimal engine cooling by allowing enough water flow in critical areas to avoid destructive cylinder hot spots. Made from high strength, high corrosion resistance 6061 aluminum alloy, computer designed and CNC machined.
