Mallory MSD 4309 Fuel Pressure Regulator for Holley or Webber Carbs

Description The Mallory/MSD 4309 return-style design pressure regulator extends the life of the fuel pump and eliminates pressure drop that can occur at high RPM “launch” starts. A high quality pressure regulator is a crucial component for use with high-pressure fuel pumps in order prevent possible carburetor flooding. Designed with flow-matched inlet and outlets for ideal pump matching. Fully serviceable. Complete with mounting bracket and hardware, detailed instructions and fuel pump bypass spacer (optional). Design-matched for use with the optional Mallory/MSD 4070M Fuel Pump. If the vehicle will be used for racing applications, (especially drag racing) adding this 4309 return-style Mallory Regulator and blocking off the internal bypass in the pump (and allowing the pump pressure to increase) is recommended. This set-up will greatly reduce the pressure drop off that can occur during sustained full-throttle runs. A 3/8″ return fuel line is recommended for use with this regulator.
