Description ARP headstud kit for the 1.9tdi. This kit replaces the OEM bolt system with a higher tensile ARP stud and nut solution. Studs and nuts are regarded to be more reliable for clamping pressures over a conventional bolt. Kit can be installed with without removing the head, you just need to replace one unit at a time and torque down. Cam caps also don’t need to be removed or modified for these if a thin walled socket is used. Whilst these studs can be torqued to 135nm under ARP’s recommendations. We recommend torquing to 125nm.
