Hello, We are David and Shelley the founders of the Raw Dog Co.
Raw Dog Co is an independent family run buisness in Whitefield, Manchester and was founded in June 2021.
A little about us..
We are a family of 10, consisting of us (David and Shelley), our four boys who regularly can be found helping out/causing mischief at store, Duke & Bear, The German Shepherds, Pixie The Pug and Wynter the French Bulldog!

How it all started..
It all started with Eric. After being on the ‘best kibble’ on the market our dog Eric was riddled with allergies. We decided to make the somewhat scary transition to raw. Initially we were feeding a DIY style diet which can somewhat be challenging. The good news was that eventually we came across ‘completes’, a company that does all the hard work for you. This made our lives soooo much easier. It had everything that he needed in just one bag, it took away the endless hours of portioning of Erics food out into containers. The great news is that all of a sudden all of these allergies that Eric was suffering with suddenly dissapeared. Amazing!
This is when we found out the importance of feeding a raw fed diet.
With this is in mind and gaining knowledge about raw food we decided to open our own small shop. Raw Dog Co was born, we opened in Whitefield and soon started a very popular local delivery service.
The popularity and interest increased hugely within the area and we instantly started to grow our Raw Dog Co community.
Initially the store was ran by Shelley as David had a full-time job working endless hours around the country. In august 2021 David had an accident at work, once recovered David made the bold decision to work full-time himself at Raw Dog Co as the business was drastically expanding. In September 2022 the buisness expanded once again and we moved to our new MUCH bigger premises in Bury, Manchester.
It felt great that we could offer quality raw food at affordable prices on our very own doorstep instead of scrolling through the internet buying raw food from somebody you don’t know and have no relationship with. It was important for us to bring everything you can get online to the high street.
