A pair of unsprung vintage-style real bakelite door handles complete with round backplates and Savoy art deco handles, shown here in walnut. Pairs of handles or knobs are complete with a 5/16" (7.9mm) square spindle so they should fit some old locks as well as new ones. You may have a 7.6mm spindle in the old lock, in which case the square hole in the lock can be filed out to 7.9mm with a sharp square file. The necessary slotted grub screws for the spindle and slotted wood screws for the plates are also supplied. They suit either mortice locks or rim locks. For rim lock use, simply discard one of the two back-plates. The round back-plate is No 6065 and the lever is No 6202.
