Heritage Edwardian Door Handles W3213 Antique Brass Lacquered

A pair of solid brass Heritage Edwardian door latch handles - this version suits a mortice latch which is purchased separately. There are matching handles with a keyhole, versions for bathroom or toilet doors and also ones that have a euro profile cylinder hole rather than the standard keyhole. All types have the same size backplates which mean that uniformity is achieved throughout the house. This is the antique brass finish which is polished brass that has been been antiqued to a dark patina then re-polished to reveal highlights then lacquered. To care for this finish, regularly remove dirt and watermarks with a non-abrasive cloth. If used outside the lacquer will break down quicker than indoors so applying a non-abrasive wax coating may extend its life. DO NOT USE metal cleaners or aerosol sprays as these will damage the lacquer. If you are replacing an existing lever handle, this handle will work with a standard UK Tubular Mortice Latch. For new doors you will also need to purchase a Tubular Mortice Latch in a size to suit your door. The mechanism carries a 10 year warranty provided it has been maintained and not misused.
