Heritage Bedford Short Plate Door Handles V800 Antique Brass Lacquered

A pair of elegant solid brass Bedford scroll door handles on a short plate; there are matching handles with the keyhole on a longer plate so the design can be followed throughout the house for uniformity. In addition, there is a version for bathrooms and toilets with a turn for locking and an emergency release and versions that have a euro profile or oval cylinder hole rather than the standard keyhole. This is the antique brass finish which is polished brass that has been been antiqued to a dark patina then re-polished to reveal highlights then lacquered. To care for this finish, regularly remove dirt and watermarks with a non-abrasive cloth. If used outside the lacquer will break down quicker than indoors so applying a non-abrasive wax coating may extend its life. DO NOT USE metal cleaners or aerosol sprays as these will damage the lacquer. If you are replacing an existing lever handle, this handle will work with a standard UK Tubular Mortice Latch. For new doors you will also need to purchase a Tubular Mortice Latch in a size to suit your door. Supplied complete with matching screws and spindle. The mechanism carries a 10 year warranty provided it has been maintained and not misused.
