Un-flanged Rim Lock Solid brass and hand-made by English craftsmen, each lock is perfectly precise and made using time honoured techniques. Rim knob is available separately. Available in a wide variety of sizes and finshes, please enquire with any special requirements. We can even supply these fabulous locks in two silver finishes. Our workshop can offer a bespoke re-finishing of the Polished Brass Unlacquered (usually stocked) and produce a custom antiqued or distressed finish. Internally the lock is assembled utilising a spring made from phosphor bronze for longevity and similarly all the internal parts resist wear and corrosion. . Supplied as standard with two brass finished steel keys, with further options of decorative solid brass and longer keys for extra thick doors. Classed as a 2 Lever Lock, we would recommend installing aditional insurance approved mortice locks for external doors. Multiple locks can be supplied using the same key - ‘keyed-alike’ where necessary.
